Thank you for your prayers.  I had the hearing re-test today.  Just as I suspected, my panic disorder had kicked in. I was  responding erratically causing bizarre results.  I had a different audiologist today who understood and worked with me.  I AM, alas, getting a bit deaf.  But it is all quite normal. So while I am always happy to be prayed for, this particular "crisis" is over.  Rose
